Workshop Management

The Space Science Institute, under the direction of P. B. Dusenbery (PI), is responsible for the overall management of the project. The workshop Development Team consists of the PI along with Ramon Lopez, Cherilynn Morrow, and Susan Solari. The Co-PIs, Lopez and Morrow, assist the PI in workshop development including creating the agenda, workshop presentations, and follow-up support. R. Lopez will be the chief facilitator of the workshop. He has assumed this role in the previously funded NASA workshops. He has a national reputation in facilitating workshops for scientists and engineers especially in his role as Education Director for the American Physical Society where he has developed a series of Leadership Institutes around the country. C. Morrow (SSI's Manager, Education & Outreach) is primarily responsible for developing the follow-up support system and overseeing the evaluation project. The mechanics of the workshops such as soliciting participants, registrations, booking rooms, printing resource books etc. is handled by Susan Solari (SSI's Public Relations Manager) who has extensive experience in workshop development. Carl Wuth coordinates the financial aspects of the project.
