Traveling Science Exhibitions

At the Space Science Institute, we feel that humanity's crowning achievement is poorly understood. In the clamor of our complex culture, the splendor of science is too often dismissed, its fascination too rarely revealed.

We all began life armed with a driving curiousity about how the world works. Gradually, we were taught that questions like "What's it like on other worlds?" or "How big is the Sun?" were too trivial to take seriously, and too hard to answer anyway! We've become well equipped to absorb half-truths, to follow the crowd, to let the experts do the thinking.

At SSI, we want to change that. We want to bring the wonders of science into people's "real" world. In partnership with scientists, space artists, designers, and education professionals, we produce and launch stimulating, interactive exhibits that bring accurate and timely space science results down to Earth.
